I've been asked a number of times which hardware / software I'm using to create the website and run the weather station so here goes (complete with links) ...
The Weather Station itself is a Davis Vantage Pro/2 FARS 6163UKX Wireless from Davis & includes a Davis DataLogger device which connects the Vantage to a dedicated PC (a Dell Optiplex) via the serial port.
The new weather station hardware (Nov'11) was purchased from those nice people at the Weather Shop in Eastbourne - don't forget to tell them who sent you their way ;-)

The main Weather Station software is Weather Display by Brian Hamilton which I registered years ago and have been using ever since.
The Live Gauges page uses data from Weather Display via an add-on called Weather Display Live (WDL) - this uses flash technology to grab the data and update the dials etc. It's made by Julian Best and can be obtained via the Weather Display website link above.
I also use MesoMap Live (MML) to update the MesoMap page. This is a subscription service which I pay for annually; although there is a free version available via WDL. Tide information comes courtesy of WXTide32 by Michael Hopper.

I've tried a few other types of software (and there are plenty available) but this combination works best for me personally.
