In the UK we're always worrying about rainfall. Either there is too much or too little. It's never right. Too little leads to a ban on hosepipes and car washing within days and too much floods the the whole Country ;-)

Of more importance (especially in this area) is the effect rainfall has on agriculture. You can see both the average rainfall trends and current deviation from those average figures for Duggleby. Of striking significance is the lack of rain in March and April 2011 where the totals are miles down on both recent and historical rainfall levels.
