08/03/11 I've added a brand new Meteogram Forecast which now includes the Grass & Soil temperature forecast for the next 5 days; it's pretty impressive.

31/03/11 The amazing Who's Online page is just about working. It contains real-time information about who's doing what on the website.

09/04/11 [i] I finally fixed the Who's Online page ! The maps are now displaying the right Geo-Location and the geomapdata itself it now being automatically updated via a CRON job. Impressive.

09/04/11 [ii] Added the brilliant World Extremes script by Michael Holden of Relay Weather. Have a look here. This page displays temperature extremes for the last 24 hours (defaulting to Europe).

16/04/11 I've been very busy adding new pages (and updating old ones) this week. There is a lot of new information on the website now. Check out the live System Status Page, UV Forecasts, Earthquake Database and completely re-written Astronomy pages.

25/04/11 Two more pages added after a few days rigorous testing and wrestling with some complicated PHP scripting. Have a look at the Duggleby Rainfall Trend Analysis and Global Warming pages - very interesting. More information on the Blog pages too.

29/04/11 The Earthquake and UV Index pages are now all live and operational, as are some excellent NOAA Record and Trend pages.

10/05/11 I've been meaning to re-do a lot of the webpages in order to speed up the loading a bit so I took the opportunity to upload new copies of everything - this took about 24 hours in total. Had I thought through how much work was involved I think I'd have left it well alone ;-)

21/05/11 The YrNo Forecast is now live - it's using data from the Norwegian Met Office - I can't work out why they're able to do a better job than the UK Met Office when they're in Norway ...

29/0/11 Today I added the 24 Hour who's Online Page - with a 7 day who's been online map. Plus my new CSS green button - which I'm rather proud of ;-)

25/07/11 I finally finished adding the output of my NOAA GFS forecast calculations. You can view the amazing array of data I'm capturing by clicking here. Well over 1400 forecast images for the next 7 days are now being calculated daily by the DuggleNet wx-Server.

05/08/11 The Bridlington Tide Times page is finally working ! I broke it recently and couldn't get it working again so I've changed the code to include a year's worth of tide times. It's pretty accurate but don't risk your property or, more importantly, your life on it !

Always check with the Coast Guard if you want precise tidal information.

06/08/11 Just for fun I've added a Real Time RADAR Flight tracker - you can actually see the aircraft moving on the map. I went outside and saw / heard the one I'd been watching on the screen. It's VERY cool and quite addictive once you start watching it.

I've also added the real-time marine shipping tracker on it's own page - this contains some interesting (near real-time) information on shipping. Handy if you're a Somalian Pirate I suppose.

17/11/11 Eagle eyed users will have noticed that the temperature and humidity readings have been way out recently. I thought this was due to a faulty sensor so I replaced it at a cost of £100 or so and it made no difference !

I have therefore ordered a replacement system today bringing the overall cost over recent weeks to nearly £1300 - feel free to donate in order to help with this if you are at all able to do so.

The new system is a Davis Vantage Pro/2 FARS which has a 24 hour fan in order to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. ENJOY ;-)
